Today’s topic is Tools from the Man Cave for the PRP - Conversations Build Friendship.  Previously we shared information on the passionate relationship principle (PRP) – Conversations Build Friendship.  For some topics and principles, such as this one, I want to provide additional insight for the men.    Ladies, reading this will also be helpful in understanding how many men respond regarding this topic.  Even if you are already aware of these gender differences, today’s segment will serve as a helpful reminder and ease the frustration you may feel as you are reminded—Oh, this is just one of those differences between men and women.  Also, I have to admit that some of the lesson that I’ll share from the Man Cave (from the man’s perspective) I’ve had to learn the hard way.    Because of the way women are socialized they tend to be very good at using communication, words, and body language to express themselves.   For today’s passionate relationship principle (PRP) is Conversations Build Friendship.

From the Man Cave: (tools for the men)

Conversation . . ugh . . .   Guys, I know, I know.  Women tend to talk more than men, and with the previous passionate relationship principle, Conversations Build Friendships, your lady may want to have even more conversations.  As men it is important for us to remember that conversation is very important to women.  For many women conversation is the best tool they have for developing a sense of connection.   Typically, conversation is something women are skilled at and do very frequently and sometimes for long, long periods of time—long conversations.  So Guys, often when she wants to talk, she is not just trying to get information; she is trying to get closer to you, to feel connected to you.
